That's right. I wrote a book. And this week I published it as an ebook on Amazon Kindle Publishing. 

The title of my book is "Pain So Proud". It tells the story of a young, female artist and her struggles to find her path against some pretty insurmountable odds. You see, she's a prodigy...a gifted painter from an early age, but naive as to the not-so-honorable intentions of a particular young man in her life. It's set in the mid 1970's, when the feminist movement was young and women were not so well respected and independent as they are today. It's definitely one of those books that will make you smile one minute and shed a tear the next.

Anyway, it's a great book and I encourage you all to read it. When you go to Amazon, type in "kindle ebooks" in the search box. Then, on the side bar, hit parenting/relationships. Finally, type in "Pain So Proud by Fran Failla" in the search box again and it should come up.

I also intend to get it published in paperback soon, but that's another whole challenge to get done.
